Good news for Motorola Xoom users in Europe - your Android 3.1 updated is almost ready. Motorola has confirmed via its official forums that he expects the upgrade to the newer version (but not later) of Honeycomb August 9. The update 3.1 includes improved user interface and hardware-accelerated browsing, among other things.
Android™ 3.1 for Motorola XOOM™ will be available soon on the airwaves to all users of Motorola XOOM in Europe. We expect to deploy over-the-air to start in early August, with the package is available to shoot on August 9th.
